Our Story

BifaNata was created from a love of simple Portuguese food, warm cafés and the kind of places you find yourself going back to again and again.

We wanted to bring something a little different to Jesmond - hot bifanas, fresh pastéis de nata and good coffee, served in a space that feels welcoming, relaxed and full of character.

Inspired by Lisbon’s bakeries and lunch counters, BifaNata is our way of sharing two Portuguese classics with Newcastle.
